1-The Secret of the Hidden Lake

This level is almost completely made up of one pixel gaps encased in wood that wind through a large stack of bricks.  There is one spot near the end though that is kind of out of the way seeming, but in reality is the key to losing or winning the level.  You must find a way to get lemmings through that little area.  Believe it or not, I used the maximum number of allowed pieces in this level (which if you didn't already know is not actually 400 but 399 pieces).

SOLUTION

When the last lemming in the pack of lower lemmings reaches the very edge of the start of his descent on the first stair case, make him build.  This must be timed exactly on the last pixel you can build on on the first plane in which the lemming walks on.  If you are too late, the lemming will walk down the stair case and you won't be able to win.  If you are too early, the lemming will block himself out of the path forward or will get stuck in the ceiling.  If you do the first part right, the lemming should begin walking up the staircase.  After that, make the same lemming build so he ends up climbing the second set of upward steps.  Now you must make the same lemming a bomber when he is about 5 or 4 pixels from the vertical drop ahead of him.  When he drops down, you must make him dig.  If he starts digging but is off center, you have lost as you will not be able to get the lemming that ended up in the pixel gap below the uppermost one through the blocked area.  If the lemming you made a bomber was made a bomber at the right time and made to dig in the center of the vertical pixel gap, he should explode at a spot that will clear the way for the lower lemming to go on ahead.  Now you should wait until the lemming gets to the lake and is on the right side of it facing left.  Now make him build.  It is crucial here that you make the first brick the lemming puts down out over the water as to get a head start, so make him build as close to the water as possible.  Make him continue to build over the water.  The builder should complete the bridge across the water just in time to save the two lemmings walking through the lower passage of the level.  The builder should turn around eventually and go to the exit.

2-So who's on First?

The actually playing area of this level is quite small.  It's a mound of dirt with steel running through it, rectangles of empty space, 3 trap doors, and a long line of water at the bottom in which the exit is situated.  The most important thing to keep in mind for this level would have to be order and placement.  While you're playing, be sure to take a look at all the scenery!  There is a neat waterfall to look at and some trees.

SOLUTION

Raise the release rate to 99.  Make a lemming in the left most chamber dig when he is directly above the gap in the steel that runs beneath the chamber he is in.  Also make a lemming in the chamber to the right dig in such a way that he will allow access to both of the spaces that are below the width of the trap door in the third chamber.  Note that the lemming should also be digging so that he stops in the lowest box.  Next make the lemmings who came from the first chamber bash under the middle chamber.  Do not make the lemmings in the middle chamber dig until the tunnel by the other lemmings is complete.  After completion of the tunnel then dig from the middle chamber.  Then dig from where that tunnel was started down to the second box down from the left chamber.  bash to the right. While this is happening make a lemming bash from the lowest box towards the exit.  When the lemming is close enough, start digging.  If a lemming gets in the hole from the digger and turns the wrong way when it is finished and goes into the water, then dig at a different time or bash the tunnel at a different time.

3-THE DOMINATIVE IS THE INEVITABLE

Look to your right in this level and then you will find a very annoying area of alternating empty space and pillars.  Look to your left to find nothing else that really encourages you.  Oh, and look at the scenery too.

SOLUTION
=========

Start a bridge across the gap to the right and then block the other lemmings from the gap.  Make five climbers, and be sure that they are 100% evenly spaced.  They should climb up the left wall and walk up the path to the left until they are over the pillars.  When they turn, make them dig when they are at the point where they will dig and not leave any terrain at all behind them and they are over a pillar by themselves.  Now one lemming should be diggin through each pillar and not one of them should have a right side of their hole.  Make each lemming mine at the time when a bridge extending from the first bridge constructed would meet them.  All the lemmings should mine until they die except for the one on the left which will die after turning around and falling off the right side of the first pillar.  When all of the mining is done, the lemming still walking around on the original bridge should be able to get through the first pillar.  Make him build across the gaps between all the pillars and up to the blob of terrain high up to the right.  Now release the blocker by using the last miner and stop the miner by using the last builder skill.  Now watch as the lemmings make their way over to the exit.

4-Right left ace spades & side ace

This level is very large but uses a small portion of the actual terrain.  To the right is a big useless heap of bricks with a hollow area that might be worth checking out.  To the left is a wooden wall with a pixel gap through it at the middle and bottom.  Then there's some steel.  To the left further is a big chamber that holds the exit.

SOLUTION
=========

Make the first lemming build when he is about under the right half of the trap door.  Continue building until you hit the right board.  Build the bridge again immediately after the lemming hits the board and stops building.  Keep building up to the one pixel gap.  When the builder is almost done, the other lemming should be walking up the staircase.  Make him a bomber.  Time him so when he explodes he makes a dent in the brick to the left that is aligned with the gap in the steel band to the left.  Make the builder a climber.  When the builder climbs to the dent, make him bash when appropriate.  He should bash through the wall and walk to the exit.

5-The Selhajek Arbenition.

The title of this level like so many other ones is purely random things that sound cool.  Anyhow, lots of stuff in this level.  You start on a rock in a tube.  The rock has a pixel gap on either side of it that is fatal.  To the right is the exit.  Once again the scenery is worth looking at.

=========

Have a lemming build over the right pixel gap.  Then make four lemmings climbers.  Make the first three into bombers.  The first bomber should enable the other climberss to get to the top of the large pillar they are climbing on.  The second and third ones should blow up the right side of the pillar low enough so the last climber can fall safely to the ground.  Let the lemming climb up the pole to the left.  Make him start mining as soon as he touches the ground again.  Then blow up the pole that still blocks the exit.

6-Box of Lemmings-Econo size

This level is extremely simple level.  It's a box with the exit on a row of bricks above the lower 3/4 of the box.  There's some scenery but not much.  I like the twisty thing to the left.

Start a bridge on the right side that goes to the left.  Keep building it up.  Also start building bridges to "catch" the lemmings that would other wise fall off of the big bridge and die.  When you reach the row of bricks, just keep building until you get through it.

7-The Box of Tranquility...or not

Another box, but this time there are two trap doors, both are too high for a lemming to survive the initial fall.  In the middle of the box is another box that runs from the floor to about 2/3 the way up the big box's height.  Contained in that box is the exit.  Oh, and yes it is possible to have a release rate of 00.

SOLUTION
=========

Give a lemming on the left side a floater skill near the bottom of his fall to save time.  Then make him bridge up to the top of the middle box.  Then dig through the right wall of the middle box until it would be safe for a lemming to fall from the top of it.  After reaching that point make the digger build a bridge to catch the lemmings on the right.

8-Kauf, Kauft, Kaufen Sie...

Lots of dirt and a little bit of scenery on the left side.  It's fun to watch the lemmings go to the exit in this level.  Anyhow, the lemmings start in a chamber that sits on top of water.  The grass over the water keeps the lemmings from falling into it.  To the left and right is a huge heap of dirt from the top of the level to the bottom.  There are three hollow areas to the upper left, and further left is an abyss running from the bottom of the level to about 3/4 the way up the level.  Even further left the huge dirt heap ends and there is the exit at last.  I rated this level in particular mayhem only because I thought this pack would be dumb without atleast one mayhem level.  The other levels are good but I don't think they quite earned mayhem status, so I stuck it on this one...oh well.

SOLUTION
=========

Make a bunch of lemmings build into the ceiling on the far left side of the entry chamber.  Keep making them build until one is stuck in the ceiling.  Make that one build until he is in the first hollow chamber above him.  Make him start building again when he gets to the left side of the chamber.  He should build into the next chamber up.  Stop building here.  When he is facing left and has one pixel between him and the top of the chasm to the left make him bash (the best place to start bashing is where the terrain runs two pixels left and then two pixels up from the right side).  When he breaks through to the right side, make him build so he turns around.  Just after passing over the chasm again, mine.  Build a bridge up to where he stops mining.
